Hello, this is my journal, yay. I don't update as often as I should, and if I haven't friended you you can't read the entries anyways, so this isn't the most useful of things. But should you wish to read my long and infrequent entries just post a comment in the unlocked entry and I'll friend you back as soon as I notice! ... which could admittedly take awhile.
Anyways, about me! I'm a graduate from Mount Union College with a degree in Japanese Language/Religious Studies with a concentration in pre-ministry and a minor in Philosophy. Those are a lot of words! I feel so fancy. I live in Japan with my fiancee Dave and our cat Ashes. I teach elementary school children how to say things other than "I'm fine thank you, and you?" Most of my days are spent shouting silly songs over 40 or so children and playing tag. My hobbies are kitsuke, Go, and learning Japanese. I love reading more than those hobbies and bemoan my sad little English book collection. Our apartment can only hold so many books...
Clover "My first thought is of you My last wish is for you
A promised land where faries wait With room just enough for two
Please take me there
I want to forget reality To be in my dreams with you Where I can be thinking forever of you
Please take me
To happiness" ~From Clover by Clamp
"If all the creations of God should one day dissipate into nothing like a drop of India ink in an infinite sea, the vast empty space that once was all creation shall be marked with just one feature: the bright, enduring and indestructible symbol of my love. It shall float there in the void, neither solid nor abstract (for it is too real to be an abstraction and too immaculate to be a concrete object), forever announcing the most flawless love ever to grace the universe."
